Visitor Transportation Services
The group will focus on improved methods of communicating transportation options that will enable visitors to have a positive experience in navigating the area. Visitors may be traveling by car, taxi, limo, bus, plane or train in reaching the Detroit metro area, and may use private or public transportation once they have arrived. The primary target will be area tourist attractions, possibly arranged by geographic area, and communicating directions and methods of reaching the various destinations. Also, the committee may consider signage connected with the different modes of transportation and make suggestions on way finding along various routes including the freeways, as well as signage on the availability and routes of transportation modes noted above.
A sub-committee to develop the list of attractions shall be formed. A group could be named for each of the three counties: Wayne, Oakland & Macomb, as well as Downtown.
