Cobo Hall Center
To work with the City of Detroit and Cobo Center to develop plans for the expansion of Cobo Center and to work to execute those plans.
The Cobo TAG met on December 7 and received a progress report from consultants who are conducting a detailed validation of the cost and feasibility of the major expansion/renovation option, which the TAG selected as the best approach to providing a convention facility that meets the needs of metro Detroit. The validation work will be complete by mid-January and the TAG will meet to receive their report and address other issues that must be resolved before the TAG issues its final recommendations.
